About Russell Flint (1880-1969)

William Russell Flint is one of the most important and certainly one of the most famous 20th century british artists.

He is especially noted for his painted female nudes, although he also designed theatre sets and costumes.

Russell Flint's lifetime honours include

1914 associate Royal Society of Painters in Watercolour
1917 member Royal Society of Painters in Watercolour
1924 associate Royal Academy (after hanging only 3 paintings)
